ONLINE CAR BUYER TRANSPORT

Finding the right car online is only part of the purchase. Getting it home requires the seller, carrier and buyer to agree on the release and delivery details. Dreamline helps coordinate vehicle transport from dealerships, private sellers and auction locations after the car is ready to be collected.

01

Confirm that the vehicle can be released

Complete the seller purchase and release requirements before promising a pickup date. Ask about business hours, appointment rules, storage deadlines and the contact who will hand over the keys. A carrier cannot resolve an unpaid balance or missing release authorization for you.

02

Verify the condition independently

Transport coordination does not replace a pre-purchase inspection or verify a seller claim. Confirm whether the vehicle starts, rolls, steers and brakes. Describe damage, missing keys or tire issues so the loading equipment can be reviewed.

03

Share auction or dealership instructions

Lot numbers, stock numbers and release references may be needed by the pickup location. Provide the appropriate information directly to your advisor and confirm who will supply any gate pass. Discuss potential storage fees with the seller before delays occur.

04

Plan delivery and inspect on arrival

Choose a location with safe truck access and arrange someone to meet the driver. Compare the condition with pickup documentation and record any concern on the delivery paperwork. Keep purchase and transport records separately so each party role is clear.

COMMON QUESTIONS.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Still working through the details? Call our team to talk about your vehicle and route.

Can you pay the seller or validate the purchase?

Vehicle purchase payment and verification remain between buyer and seller. Arrange transport after confirming the vehicle is ready for release.

Can a damaged auction vehicle be shipped?

It requires a condition and equipment review. Disclose damage and whether the car rolls, steers and brakes before requesting a quote.

Can pickup happen outside dealership hours?

Only if the releasing location and carrier agree on an authorized handoff. Do not assume after-hours access is available.
